Adobe Acrobat reader not available in Feisty

Bug Description

The acroread package which provides Adobe Acrobat is not in the Feisty multiverse repository, apparently because of a change in the license from Adobe.

However IMO, there should still be a way of very easily installing this software, in a manner similar to that used to install 'restricted' drivers.

Acrobat Reader is essential for people using desktop linux, as in a professional setting it is the only option for reliably viewing all PDFs.

For people wondering how to install it under Feisty and who are happy with a little command line trickery, you can follow the instructions here:

acroread 7.0.9 was available in Edgy multiverse; so why can't the same version be included in Feisty?

I'm confirming that it isn't in there.

I have multiverse enabled, and it's not available.

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty multiverse

$ sudo apt-get install acrobat

Package acrobat is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package acrobat has no installation candidate
