Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpid

Today bug 508073 was filed in Kubuntu that pressing the power button immediatly shuts the pc down instead of opening the kde logout dialog. Another report in the KDE BT indicated that this was an acpi issue so I looked around a bit and found that pressing the power button runs /etc/acpi/powerbtn.sh so I checked the script and found out:

/etc/acpi/powerbtn.sh: 32: getXconsole: not found

the script doesn't source the /usr/share/acpi-support/power-funcs script so the function can't be found. This results in $XUSER being empty and the script not even attempting to try to find out if powerdevil is running or not. I do think this worked a while ago so this would be a regression.
