Bug Description

Hi, as i told in subject my mb (ASUS - p8h61-m le) doesn't resume from suspend mode. Every time it occurs i need to hard reset my pc unplugging the power supply wire. Is there any known solution for this issue? My system and the mb bios are up to date. I'm using ubuntu 11.10. Thank you very much.

I dont know if that is of relevance, but I tested with a 3.4.0-030400rc1 Kernel and the problem still exists.

Same issue; https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=772938 on Fedora. There it was fixed in kernel-3.3.0. Thought Ubuntu 12.04 will have 3.2.0-17.27 and jcd still experiences the problem with 3.4.0 kernel.

For me updating to 3.3.0-030300-generic kernel solves the problem. With 3.3.0 I'm able to suspend and resume successfully.

When entering suspend with 12.04 beta2 kernel, the power key led stays on. With 3.3.0 kernel it blinks on suspend.

With standard Ubuntu 12.04 beta2 kernel the restore tries a few times (I can hear from fan going on and off) and then stops in a state where display and USB keyboard and mouse are not working but CPU fan is spinning.

My mother board is Asus P8H61-MX.
