Battery indicator does not detect insertion/removal of power cable

Bug Description

It shows the status "Battery(charged)" when it should be charging. This started happening after first suspending the device, and continues after restarting it.

Clicking the status to open the "Power statistics" dialog does correctly show the power cable as being online or offline, so this appears to be a software bug.
