acpi and the gnome power manager applet don't show the time remaining of the battery (regression)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi

With the latest Karmic alpha of Ubuntu Netbook Remix on a dell min 9 (kernel 2.6.31) the time remaing of the battery is not available on both gnome-power-manager applet (package 2.28) and acpi (package 1.4.2).

francis@francis-laptop:~$ acpi
Battery 0: Discharging, 56%, discharging at zero rate - will never fully discharge.

With jaunty it was working fine

Same here, on a Compal JHL90. It was fine in Jaunty. amd64 installation.
