Bug Description

Suspend-to-RAM has worked in my laptop since flight4, but as a side effect shutdown fails if the laptop has been suspended and resumed.

When I choose "shut down" from log off menu, it closes all other services but hangs forever with last message "Sending all processes the TERM signal..."

Hardware is Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M1437G laptop.

I'm also affecting, but it seems to be kernel related, as the bug is present for multiple users and for multiple Ubuntu versions (for me, the bug is present since at least three versions...).

I would be pleased to help if I can, in order to eliminate definitely this annoying bug ! ^^ Don't hesitate to require information or log files !

I'm on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo M1425 laptop with Centrino, Gutsy, BIOS up-to-date, kernel Linux 2.6.22-12-generic #1 SMP Sun Sep 23 18:11:30 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux.
