UBUNTU forums post here:

System running UBUNTU 8.10, with NVIDIA card and drivers. Has 2 SATA drives and a IDE DVD connected. Tried disconnecting one of the drives - same thing happens. System has ASUS P4X-800 Motherboard (as far as I can remember) with sis(?) SATA controller.
Please notify if you need some more outputs. Also, until a fix is released, is there a workaround besides disabling sleep?
Thanks.
