Bug Description

Hi everyone!

I've got a vgn-nr21s Sony vaio. I've installed the latest Ubuntu version, so Ubuntu 8.10. Everything works fine, except the brightness. I mean, the fn keys work perfectly, but the brightness doesn't work at all.
My graphic card is a Nvidia 8400GT.

 If someone can give me any solution, I'd be glad to try it!

Are you able to change the brightness using your FN keys?

I'm not able to change the brightness using my FN keys. When I use them I can see the progress bar, but the brightness doesn't work.
I tried to change the brightness using my control panel as well, but the result is the same.
