Bug Description

i dont know where exactly to post this. ive been tracking several bug reports but none seems to fit my problem. so here it goes.

in hardy everything worked fine, under intrepid:

sometimes, and i mean it, sometimes, computer boots, with the following symptoms:

- /proc/acpi/thermal_zone appears empty
- due to thermal_zone being empty, lm_sensors doesnt detect my thrermal sensors through acpi
- and since there is no thermal gauge, the cpu fan runs non stop (it usually starts at 50C and stops at 60C)

WHEN the sensor works correctly, the fan does too. everything is running smoothly.

the notebook is an everex stepnote sa2053t

im attaching dmesg, lspci -vvnn and lsmod
