Bug Description

I'm running kubuntu 7.10. Some hotkeys does not work. From xev I get:

212 NoSymbol - Brightness up (Fn+up) Not Functional
101 NoSymbol - Brightness down (Fn+down) Not Functional
165 XF86Sleep - Sleep Fn+F1 Not Functional
241 XF86LaunchB - Battery (Fn+F3) Works
214 NoSymbol - CRT/LCD (Fn+F8) Not Functional

The sleep function is assigned to the wrong key. Pressing Fn+Esc will put the system to sleep. Where does ubuntu keep the configuration of this keys and how can I fix this? Thanks

regards,
Leonard

Are you kidding me, only confirmed after 11months! And I thought gentoo was bad. This takes the cake. Btw, its broken on 8.10 as well.

These hotkeys have been fixed in a variety of bugs for 8.10 that are in intrepid-proposed, eventually headed to updates. Reopen the bug if you can reproduce hotkey problems with all updates from intrepid-proposed.
