HP Desktop behaves like a laptop by going into suspend

Bug Description

HP Desktop model # A4313W running an "Intergrated NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nforce 430 Graphics thinks it's a Laptop - goes into suspend mode and gives no option in Power to stop this action. Display through System shows the monitor as a Laptop using a HP 2009M Monitor. Sysinfo shows the system as being a desktop.
