Bug Description

After resuming from suspend to ram the acpi support for the battery is broken. Dmesg output:
ACPI: Battery Slot [C11F] (battery absent)

Furthermore there is a problem with mouse and keyboard after resume. Sometimes mousepointer or keyboard is going mad (mousepoint moving wildly around the screen...). Dmesg output:
atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated set 2, code 0x0 on isa0060/serio0).
atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes 00 <keycode>' to make it known.
psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio4/input0 lost sync at byte 4
psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio4/input0 lost sync at byte 1
 psmouse.c: TouchPad at isa0060/serio4/input0 - driver resynched.
psmouse.c: bad data from KBC - timeout

After reboot everything works as expected.

There is also a third problem:
Resuming only works using the powerbtn. Pressing the keyboard (including special-key) doesn't resume.

It's normal for only the power button to resume. I'll look into the rest.

I have an HP zt3000, which is the HP version of the nx7000, and I have the same problem with the battery not reporting after standby. In addition, if I try to standby again, it will crash my computer when coming back from standby (I'm guessing this is related).

For me the same:
running
$acpi
gives no output, but I have no acpi/battery-related errors in dmesg...
I've also noticed the hang on the second suspend after cold boot.

Seems to be fixed in Edgy.

Resuming works for me with a recent version (2006-10-12) of Ubuntu Edgy with a default configuration. Even a "second suspend" works.

Greetings
Daniel
