also, while resuming on battery, it often goes back to sleep.

This on a recent dapper, not sure what other infomation you need.

I've got almost identical a behavior with a Thinkpad X40 : machine resumes (on lid opening) from sleep cleanly, displays gnome desktop for 2-4 seconds and then goes back to sleep again. Resuming the machine again (pushing the power button since the lid is already open) wakes the machine normally.

I suspect that connecting or disconnecting the AC power while the machine is in sleep mode trigs this behavior.

Happens on Dapper Beta + daily updates up to 28th of April.

I confirm that unplugging the AC power while laptop is in sleep mode trigs the behavior mentionned above.

Between 20:25:36 and 20:26:02, I :
- opened the lid (laptop went out of sleep and then suspended again without user action) : estimated time 15~20 seconds
- pushed the power button (laptop went out of sleep normally this time)

Let me know if I can help you identify the problem more accurately.

(BTW, thanks for the awesome work done with Dapper : it's truly a pleasure to use it)
