first sorry my english
when i execute hotkeys does do notting
if i exec ctrl +f7 ( sound down) or ctrl+f8 (sound up) sound no change but a empty percent bar appear on display
when press ctrl+f6 (mute) does not do at all , the same play ,stop ,next etc hotkeys
With kubuntu 8.04 it work fine

HI , the volume hotkey not work because the master channel in kmix is incorrect .
Selecting a corrent channel work fine ,but multimedia hotkey ( play,pause next forw , messenger, www,email etc) still not working

The acpi_fakekey tool is known to not work with recent kernels, and there's a previously reported bug about this. But what's really of interest here is getting the hotkeys working, not acpi_fakekey.
For each of the media hotkeys that aren't working, please step through the instructions at <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Hotkeys/Troubleshooting> so we can identify which component is missing support for them.
