Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi-support

On Intrepid ,applied acpi-support_0.114-0intrepid1_amd64.deb which caused Suspend to Ram stopped working on Thinkpad T61p 6459-CTO. The system starts to suspend but hangs up with the moon symbol blinking and the cursor blinking on a blank screen in the upper left corner (console screen - not X-Windows). The only option at this point is to force a power off by holding down the power button for five seconds. I'm not seeing anything applicable in the log files but am willing to supply more information if told what to supply. Thank you.

I have also started to have a lot of failed suspend cycles after the latest acpi-support update on my T61p, I'm backing down to the original release version to see if that helps.
