Bug Description
How to reproduce:
1. Suspend my laptop (thinkpad T61p).
2. Resume my laptop.
3. Try to play a sound.
Sound-playing applications appear to work normally, but nothing comes out of the speakers.
Workaround:
$ sudo alsa force-reload
$ sudo /etc/init.

I found what looks like an effective workaround for this on my ASUS EEE 900A. The trick is to modify /etc/pulse/ default. pa and add "tsched=0" to the "load-module module-detect" line. This disables PulseAudio's "glitch-free" feature. I did this a week ago and the problem has not recurred over perhaps 30-40 suspend/resume cycles (it used to happen every 3 cycles, more or less).
