Bug Description

In hardy, my laptop didn't hibernate. It started the hibernation sequence and returned to the unlock session screen after rapidly showing some console output that I don't remember.

Now, I tell the computer to hibernate and it goes to blank, shows some output about mmc0 (if i eject my SD adapter that ouptput is not shown), and shuts down. But when I power up the laptop back again, it boots normally and doesn't resume the hibernation.

I don't know where and how to get the logs of what happened, but if you tell me how to get them, I will post them.
Im using Ubuntu 8.10 with the release day packages
