Bug Description

With the breezy Preview Release suspend to ram worked fine with my IBM T43, but
with the current breezy branch i does not work anymore. It wakes up but the
screen is messed up with bright colors. The mouse pointer is visible but does
not work. I guess the system hangs because switching to console mode via keys
does not work either.

Same with suspend to disk. It worked with breezy preview and is now broken.

I've just tried the Release Candidate Live-CD an suspend to ram is working with
it. Suspend to disk is not possible to test with the CD but i guess it is fixed
also.

Which video drivers are you using?

I am using the fglrx driver from ATI. Switching back to the ati driver from the
package xserver-xorg-driver-ati helps to solve the problem.

The latest drivers from ati.com should fix this - otherwise, I'm afraid there's
not a lot we can do.
