I can confirm this bug. I'm using a FUJITSU SIEMENS desktop (scaleo h), and I get exactly the same error.

Confirm with a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pro V3205 - same message

I removed the last bracket in line 19 of

/usr/share/acpi-support/FUJITSU SIEMENS.config

now it installs properly.

This file is actually in the acpi-support package. I'm shifting the bug over there. FYI, you can find out what package a file is in like this:

$ dpkg -S /usr/share/acpi-support/FUJITSU\ SIEMENS.config
acpi-support: /usr/share/acpi-support/FUJITSU SIEMENS.config

I'm marking it as duplicate of bug 203369.
A fix for this has been uploaded already yesterday.

Changed in acpi-support:
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Invalid
