Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi-support

In Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon, using acpi-support 0.103
after installing uswsusp, hibernation ceases to work (the screen flashes and the screensaver starts, that's all), unless you call s2disk manually.

The bug is in /etc/acpi/hibernate.sh, line 34 and 36, while calling s2disk: it does not accept any -x or -y option. Both lines must be replaced with:
   /sbin/s2disk -r $DEVICE
