Bug Description

Ubuntu 7.10 PPC
PowerBook G4 5,4 rv350 (r300)

Suspend-to-RAM doesn't wake display up again unless you switch to a VT from X just before suspend. Changing the brightness doesn't help.

If switched to a VT, laptop will wake again, but it's very difficult to switch it in time

This hasn't worked in at least the last 4 releases of the distribution.
