Bug Description

I have an IBM ThinkPad T42 and I want to use Hibernate with Ubuntu.
I went through the necessary steps to enable hibernation (HoaryPM in the wiki)
but pressing Fn+F12 (hibernate)
does not currently activate hibernate. I can hibernate by manually calling the
hibernate script in /etc/acpi
just fine.

You need the latest kernel and a file in /etc/modprobe.d containing:

options ibm_acpi hotkey=enable,0xffff

This will be fixed in the next acpi-support package.

It's already in the archive. (acpi-support with modprobe.d love)

Oh, ok. Tim, can you make sure you're running Hoary's acpi-support?
