Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The relevant dpkg terminal log says:

cp: cannot stat '/var/lib/acpi-override/*': No such file or directory
E: /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/acpi-override failed with return 1.

The acpi-override hook comes from acpi-override-initramfs. So reassigning to acpi-override.

affects: initramfs-tools (Ubuntu) → acpi-override (Ubuntu)
