Hi Amit,
I know it has been a while since you reported this bug, I hope I will be able to help you.
In contrast to Windows, Linux computers have their system clocks set to GMT time, and the OS takes care of calculating the local time based on your time-zone settings. I think it is possible to have your system clock set to local time, but you will need to change the OS settings as well.
Is there a specific reason for you to want to system clock set to local time? The only reason I can think of is that you have a dual boot machine with Windows installed as well. Is that the case?
