Little freezes in Abiword

Bug Description
When I try to use Abiword, I have little freezes every 2 or 3 seconds. This happens when the Abiword window is active, but there is no freeze when Abiword is opened and his window inactive. I notice also that when the Abiword window is active, the CPU load increases significantly.
