abiword crashes on start

Following a fix for #1637893 (abiword was updated to 3.0.2-2 to resolve black text field after gtk+ 3.22), there remains a bug on lubuntu zesty (updated) rendering abiword fully unusable:

I note adwaita theme is listed in depencies, which is not present in lubuntu (only adwaita icon theme).

There are two issues here that are likely unrelated. Please file a separate bug for one of the issues.

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

If you install gnome-themes-standard, you should be able to select the Adwaita widget theme in Lubuntu menu>Preferences>Customize Look and Feel.

Installing adwaita gnome-theme (not standard present in lubuntu) didn't make any improvement.
