Ubuntu 12.04 hangs on shutdown-screen

Bug Description
Software: Ubuntu 12.04, i386 (32-bit-Version), standard-
Hardware: Laptop on power cable, MSI EX 610 (2008, AMD Turion 64 X2-board, Radeon HD 2400)
The Sytem often freezes on the Shutdown-Screen.
when it hangs, the fan-speed increase to maximum-speed and does not stop!
To shutdown the machine i have to push and hold the power-switch.
