GParted uses GiB and MiB instead of GB and MB which are the standard symbols. See attachment.

MiB and GiB are the standard symbols these days for the power of 2 units.

Oh, sorry: you are quite right. I didn't know the existence of GibiByte
and MebiByte. Now I know.
