Bug Description
I am using a Dell Inspiron M301Z, and I often have an external monitor connected to this laptop. When I suspend or hibernate the computer I am unable to resume - I just get a black screen. I am not able to reach the computer via ssh or even ping.
However when there is no external display plugged in, the laptop is able to wake up from suspend without problems.
Also, I have noticed that the proprietary driver (fglrx) does not have this problem (but it does have a different set of bugs, which makes it unusable on this laptop).
