Can't move mouse anymore

Not sure whether this is actually unity related, but it sometimes occurs to me that I can not move the mouse anymore. It just stays statically on the screen, even if I move my fingers over the touchpad of my netbook. Clicking still works fine, though. I reported this bug while that was the case.

i believe its something in Xorg or kernel, Unity is not related

Similar problem here. Mouse (touchpad) on Gateway netbook LT2802U freezes and will not respond at all. No cursor movement and both buttons have no effect. Seems most likely to happen during/after typing on the keyboard. Tab keys still work but navigation is difficult at best without mouse.

Ingo Gerth, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Oneiric reached EOL on May 9, 2013.
