Patching g-c-c to run indicator- datetime- preferences if available and its normal datetime panel if not is not as easy as running external panels (http:// launchpad. net/bugs/ 787694), so I think it is much safer to make indicator-datetime run g-c-c datetime panel, and, if needed, add anything we need to the g-c-c panel.
So, attached branch does that
