Bug Description

[needs-packaging] M2VRequantiser

M2VRequantiser is now a dependency of mytharchive when it is necessary to compress video files in order to fit on to dvd's - the process fails without this component.

This package is now included in the universe repository for Quantal, with the version 1.1-1.

Are not Mythbuntu's releases only in conjunction with Ubuntu's LTS releases currently 12.04.1, and thus Quantal being 12.10 make including the package in Quantal's repository moot for Mythbuntu? Thus how can this be a fix?

You can always change your sources list to get Quantal or Raring packages. Mythbuntu only being concurrent with LTS releases of Ubuntu does not affect the outcome of this bug, as the package is now available for Quantal and Raring. You could ask the Mythbuntu team to include the package in a PPA, hypothetically.
