In my case it used 533M for an amd64 ISO.

Odd, mine came to 428M rootfs.

The test case will be updated to ask for rootfs size to be checked with 'du -shx /'.

The problem was that the rootfs is ext4. I had a 2G disk, whereas other posters had 6-8G. A 6-8G rootfs uses, apparently 100M in extra metadata than a 2G disk.
