Thank you for your bug report.

System settings have been divided into common and advanced settings. Please check if you have the advanded-button in the menu bar. if so, There should be the disks menu located in advanced.

Thanks Peter

Hi Peter!

There is not an advanced setting in my menu...moreover the official guide that comes with edgy says :

"Windows and other partitions should be automatically available from any Ubuntu system. If they are not, you can enable them using the graphical disks tool.

   1. Open System->Administration->Disks"

Bye

Enrico

OK, using gnome desktop.
From what I have learned by now is, that the disk administration program was removed because of compatibility problems with hal. I'm pretty sure that there will be one again for gnome, only question is when.
If I get any news, or somebody else has some, you'll hear.
