Start New Login in a nested Window fail (GDM?)

Bug Description

In a updated edgy choosing menu -> New Login in a nested window or giving the command gdmflexiserver --xnest
a new black window is started and ends almost directly-> No nested loginscreen apears.
Option New Login or gdmflexiserver works perfectly.

thanks for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have any error on the command line if you run "gdmflexiserver --xnest"?

I use Edgy (fully updated). There is no error message when I use the command line: After running the command a new window appears shortly (a black one). It disappears. In the command box a new clear commandprompt appears with no (error)messages.

Does running "Xnest :1" works fine?

Xnest :1 gives a fullscreen.
However: I did a complete reinstall after problems with gdm startup and xnest is now working fine (was the 4th upgrade in ubuntu on my machine so....

New login in a window gives the error shown in the attached screenshot.
