Bug Description

this has been an ongoing problem. developers don't upload the changelog of packages they upgrade. so the user has no way of knowing what s/he's installing and why s/he needs an upgrade. the latest example is with the latest upgrades. I wasn't able to see any of their changelogs. packages are:

firefox firefox-gnome-support libnspr-dev libnspr4 libnss-dev libnss3

changelogs are important bc not every sysadm wants all the upgrades available out there.

If you mean http://changelogs.ubuntu.com, which aptitude (and probably update-manager) uses, then I guess it's an automated process.

Changelogs appear there alright, but usually after a while the package has available on repository.

is there a way to get the changelogs to http://changelogs.ubuntu.com/ faster?

synaptic / update-manager uses that website to download and display the changelog of the update. usually it cannot find the changelog (hence the bug :) ).
