Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Hello All
A few weeks ago my HP lap top's wireless connection was fine with Ubuntu 9.10. I installed updates a few days before Ubuntu 10.04 came out. Thats when the different routers ( mine and the 3 or 4 others in the neighborhood disappeared form the wireless pull down menu. I have not been able to connect to my Netgear router since. (I could and can connect with a wire.)
I tried a reinstall of the router. (Reinstalling the WEB Key) No luck.
So I installed Ubuntu 10.04 hoping that would recognize the routers again. No luck.
One of the local Linux experts at wlug said I should report the bug. I thought the next update would include the fix. 2 or 3 updates later my computer does not recognize the router.
I have very limited experience with computers. Please help.
