Bug Description
When the last update with update-manager finish I receive this error message:
Configuring linux-image-
Running depmod.
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.
ERROR lilo fails for new /boot/initrd.
Warning: LBA32 addressing assumed
Unrecognized token "splash" at or above line 116 in file '/etc/lilo.conf'
Failed to create initrd image.
And the dpkg stop with error code 2.
After this error, in lilo menu I can only start with LinuxOLD option. When I try to boot with the new kernel, LILO stops in "Loading Linux" screen.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 AMD64, with LILO in a Compaq CQ42BR notebook

Why do you have "splash" in your lilo.conf? This option was experimental by OpenSuse
but never supported from upstream. And as I know "splash" wasn't supported from
Debian and Ubuntu. So please remove the splash option!
