[i965] Intel [GME965/GLE960], bad text shadow rendering

Bug Description

Any gliph that uses text shadow makes a blocky text shadow under it.
It happens in may places including but not only:
    Pages in firefox in which the text uses the css property text-shadow
    Gnome-Do results list (see screenshot attached)
    Empathy themes with shadows.
    Terminal with transparent background.

It happens using both compiz and metacity.

Hmm, don't recognise this bug at all - and it is pretty severe. Going out on a limb and presuming the bug has been made obsolete by SNA.
