2010-03-28 17:41:45 StefanPotyra description Hi, that's our current state: http://orangesquash.org.uk/~laney/haskell-installability/i386.png Here's the list of syncs that I filed today together with some comments how invasive the changes are. Common to most packages is that the packaging changed to make use of hlibrary.mk. haskelldb-hdbc: 0.12-1 to 0.13-1 (bug #) Upstream changes: minimal as well. missingh: 1.1.0.1-1 to 1.1.0.3-1 (bug #550208) Upstream changes: mediocre. haskell-unixutils: 1.22-1build1 to 1.22-2 (bug #) hdbc-odbc: 2.1.0.0-3ubuntu1 to 2.2.3.0-2 (bug #) Upstream changes: quite limited. hdbc-postgresql: 2.1.0.1-1 to 2.2.3.1-2 (bug #) Upstream changes: mediocre. Debatable: -2 changes the name of the -doc package. -1 is still available in testing, so we could also sync this one. hdbc-sqlite3: 2.1.0.2-1 to 2.3.0.0-2 (bug #) Upstream changes: minimal. Debatable: -2 changes the name of the -doc package. -1 is still available in testing, so we could also sync this one. haskell-configfile: 1.0.5-1build1 to 1.0.6-1 (bug #550223) Upstream changes: only 3 lines, one is the version number. Needs newer missingh first. darcs-buildpackage: 0.5.12 to 0.5.12.1 (bug #550246). Needs missingh and haskell-configfile first. I've test-build and test-installed all packages. I've also looked at the debdiffs of the versions, and all look good, though I must admit that my haskell is a little bit rusted. Finally I gave darcs-buildpackage and hdbc-sqlite3 brief tests. Oh, and I also looked at the contents of the binary packages to avoid surprises. The only interesting bit that I found is that configfile-doc (from haskell-configfile) is empty. However that's not a regression. Comments, questions, anything else? Cheers, Stefan.
