Bug Description
Binary package hint: hplip
After a hardy -> lucid upgrade the printer on /dev/lp0 stopped working. In hp-toolbox I get error 5012. I attach a screenshot of the full error dialog. Switching to usb makes it work. I tried both parallel:/dev/lp0 and hp:/par/

Does the command
lpinfo -v
list your printer? With which URIs? parallel:/..., hp:/...?
what is the output of
lsmod | egrep 'parport|ppdev|lp'
Run the following commands if needed:
modprobe lp
modprobe parport
modprobe parport_pc
modprobe ppdev
What is the output of
ls -l /dev/lp*
