Bug Description

It's easy to reproduce:

1. Put an image in a zip archive
2. Mount that archive with "archive mounter"
3. Try to set that image as background with either "drag 'n' drop + Alt" on the desktop or by dragging the image in the Appearance Preferences
4. Watch it fail

I guess it's a Nautilus bug, but I'm not really sure. Karmic user here.

It looks like now dragging on Appearance Preferences does work now, but dragging to the desktop + alt + release mouse button + set as background does not.

Hello Alessio
I can reproduce the issue that dragging the mounted image to the desktop + Alt + release mouse button + set as background don't work.
But i've noted that instead to show the image it change the background to white.

the issue should be fixed in GNOME3 which does a copy of the image rather than refer to its url
