Bug Description

Using Dapper, fully updated.

We have a few joysticks here and, for some reason, they are not calibrated correctly. In Windows I am able to make these usable by using the calibration tool in Game Controllers.

There does not seem to be a comparable tool in Ubuntu which renders the joystick fairly useless.

I have tried the packages "joystick" and "jscalibrator" but neither fix it; joystick is very difficult to use and jscalibrator is easy to use but doesn't seem to work perfectly. A tool more integrated into Gnome would be excellent.

This is not a gnome-panel bug. It might make more sense to write a specification about your ideas for it, so people might get involved in the development for it.

closing that feature request, as written by Daniel that's rather a topic for a specification or a discussion on a mailing list
