  Cricket score applet gnome-applet which will display score at gnome-panel, the same way, we see date/time. It is written in python. It will also score updates through libnotify module. You can select matches from matches in progress.

Notes: This is gnome applet which has been tested thoroughly since last release. There has been more than 100 downloads.

         Currently there no such applet/widget for linux equivalent to Windows score ticker provided by Cricinfo. I have written this applet in python. It parses feed provided by cricbuzz.com to display score @ gnome panel. Also it provides wickets, fours notifications through libnotify which will configurable.
 I am also working on extending this applet to show football score.
