Bug Description

On karmic,
When you try to record your voice using front mic on eee 901 (stereo mic), it's recorded just in right channel, while left is muted.
It's expected that recorded voice plays on two channels

Does it help to increase 'Mic Boost' using alsamixer in a Terminal?

No, it does not help. Tried different levels of mic boos on alsamixer,
and ther is no difference on recorded sound.
Thats interesting that when i make a call test on skype, it's played on
both channels

This can't be a sound driver issue, then.

Changed in alsa-driver (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete
affects: alsa-driver (Ubuntu) → ubuntu
