Bug Description

Sir, I wanted to install additional applications using Ubuntu Software Centre. However, I find that there is no option to Select Multiple Packages for Installation in Ubuntu Software Centre. The interface in Ubuntu 9.04 "Add/Remove Packages" was highly convenient for selecting many applications in one go.

I think the same, it's a pane to select programs 1 by 1. This is a lost of functionality, and old way was much better.

Ubuntu Software Center will not have "a checkbox system for installing and removing multiple items", because that is both more difficult to learn and slower to use than installing/removing things immediately.

In USC 3.0 experts can, if they like, queue multiple items for installation with a custom list, entering package names separated by commas in the search field. In that respect, this bug is fixed.
