Bug Description

I installed the 2 mount-drive icons. Last day I did an update and after it something stopped to works. The cdrom icon in the tray bar disappeared but it comes back when I insert a cd-dvd. Why? Other: after installed the new update, I had to shutdown my pc, but it gave me again the same starting login, so I had to use the near button to shutdown completely...
I have Ubuntu 6.0.4 Dapper update at 14.40 local time (Italy).

Hi.

Does this issue still happen with final Dapper? Or even Edgy?

I found that was a change from the 5.10 to the 6.04 and 6.06 so icons come back after inserting a CD and after removing it disappear. Everything onw is OK.
