Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntu-docs

Two days ago i changed a hardware component, the video card and yesterday i installed kubuntu. After the dual boot screen, when the desktop appears, the mouse doesn't work and appears in a window: Kstartupconfig4 does not exist or fails. The error code is 3. Check.
Release 9.04, i found the iso image of kubuntu in a magazine.

This isn't a problem with the ubuntu-docs package, so I'm unassigning the bug from that package.

affects: ubuntu-docs (Ubuntu) → ubuntu

Hello,

I have right now updated my kubuntu karmic alpha5 64 bits and now it make a sound at start like a big problem.

sometime it can start to login but all are blocked and no mouse work too.

i have this message when i can log.: kstartupconfig4 does not exist or fails. the error code is 3 , check ....

after check i can't see beacause the ens are hidde and can't move mouse to can push ok or make bigger the windows.

i really have no idea of what to do, are impossible to go in command mode or do something.

it was the last kernel , i think 2.6.31.10 if i am right on x86 64 with nidia .

If someone have a idea , i accept it with pleasure
