automatic loggoff during internet surfing

Bug Description

First of all I don't know how to recreate this bug. it happened two times. While using firefox the screen gets black and a few seconds later there is the GUI logon screen with the message "the user will be logged on in xx seconds". After the counter has finished a the systems tries to log on (the terminal is displayed a short time) and afterwards the logon screen is displayed again. I can only restart the system to get ubuntu work.

  Hello,

since i've installed ubuntu version 10.04 i haven't had any problems
with it.
i didn't do an upgrade. I formatted the harddisk and installed completly
new.
