[g41][West Lake] Ubuntu 8.10: False panel size detected under resolution UI.

Bug Description

Description: Resolution UI detected 19" panel as 17" and 18.5" panel as 19".

Steps to replicate:
1. Install the system with Ubuntu 8.10 OS (DELL-reinstall).
2. Install the VGA driver fix packages with the following sequence:
    xserver-xorg-video-intel_2.4.1-1ubuntu10.5~test1_i386.deb
    linux-image-2.6.27-14-generic_2.6.27-14.33_i386.deb
    linux-headers-2.6.27-14-generic_2.6.27-14.33_i386.deb
3. Reboot the system after the installation and launch the resolution UI.
4. Observe the panel size detected.

System Architecture: i686
Kernel Version: 2.6.27-14-generic

Config 1:
CPU: Intel Cel 450
Chipset: Intel G41 + ICH7
HDD: Western Digital 80GB
ODD: TSST DVD-ROM
Memory: Hynix DDR2 800 1GB
Audio Chipset: Conexant CX20582-10Z
LVDS: LG Philips 17" / LG Philips 19"
Card Reader: VIA VT6325
LAN: Realtek R8111DL

Config 4:
CPU: Intel C2D E7400
Chipset: Intel G41 + ICH7
HDD: Western Digital 250GB
ODD: TSST DVD-RW
Memory: Hynix DDR2 800 2GB
Audio Chipset: Conexant CX20582-10Z
LVDS: LG Philips 18.5" / AUO 18.5"
Card Reader: VIA VT6325
LAN: Realtek R8111DL

This issue is solved by updating the LVDS firmware from the vendor.
